This is a booking for 8 sessions of Adults Remote Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBTC).

Description
Experiencing low mood is a very common problem, for example rumination or overthinking. It involves both biological changes in the way the brain works and psychological changes – the way we think we and feel. It is beneficial to offer psychological approaches (which teach new ways to deal with thoughts and feelings). The purpose of these session is to improve your chance of managing further episodes of low mood, stress and feelings of being overwhelmed. In the sessions, you will learn skills to help you handle your thoughts and feelings different.
Skills you will learn during MBCT:
You will develop a better understanding of how your minds works, and be better equipped to notice negative patterns and mental habits.
Be better able to stand back from distressing thoughts and feelings.
Recognise early warning signs of low mood and take helpful action.
Put less effort into trying to ‘fix’ things or strive for results. You will learn these skills in a group with up to 12 other people. You will meet in 8 x 2hour sessions to learn new ways of dealing with what goes on in your mind, and to share and review your experiences with other group members.
